My name is Mrs. Rivera. I have followed Jesus since I was 15 years old, and it has been the best decision I have ever made. My relationship with Christ and my desire to serve Him have developed in me a deep passion for helping and serving others. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of being involved in various ministries at church, including teaching youth and adults, participating in music ministry, and serving in missions.
Professionally, I earned my degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, and became a licensed Physical Therapist. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and serve individuals with different needs. I have also had the privilege of teaching Physical Therapy Assistant students at the college level, an experience that strengthened my passion for education and mentoring.
I truly enjoy teaching because I see it as an opportunity to inspire students not only to grow in knowledge, but also to develop wisdom, character, and a desire to become the best version of themselves. Teaching High Schoolers at Millennium Christian Academy has given me the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects, including Mathematics, one of my favorite subjects, as well as the Bible and biblical principles.
For me, teaching at Millennium Christian Academy is much more than a job—it is a ministry. I am grateful for the opportunity to use my professional experience, love for learning, and faith in Christ to encourage and inspire students as they grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
