Physical Education Class Description

Welcome to Physical Education, where students develop healthy habits, teamwork, and confidence in a Christ-centered learning environment. Through age-appropriate games, exercises, movement activities, sports skills, and fitness challenges, students learn the importance of caring for the bodies God has given them. Physical Education encourages students to practice good sportsmanship, respect others, work together, and make wise choices for lifelong health and wellness. As students participate and grow, they build strength, coordination, perseverance, leadership, and positive character both on and off the playing field.

The Music Class is designed to help students develop musical knowledge, creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music in a Christ-centered learning environment. Students will learn that music is a gift from God and can be used to worship Him, encourage others, and express truth, joy, and gratitude.

Throughout the class, students will explore rhythm, melody, singing, listening skills, basic music theory, and age-appropriate performance techniques. Dance Team Class Description

The Dance Team Class is designed to help students develop dance technique, teamwork, discipline, and creative expression in a Christ-centered environment. Students will learn how movement can be used as a form of worship, encouragement, and ministry while growing in confidence, coordination, and respect for others.

Throughout the class, students will practice age-appropriate dance skills such as stretching, rhythm, basic choreography, posture, stage presence, and group routines. Lessons will also emphasize modesty, unity, responsibility, perseverance, and honoring God through attitude, effort, and performance.

Be prepared for class with appropriate attire and readiness to learn.

Course Description

This course introduces students to the creative, technical, and ministry-focused skills used in television production, sound engineering, and live streaming. Students will learn how to plan, produce, record, edit, and broadcast high-quality media content for school events, chapel services, worship programs, announcements, interviews, and special productions. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, technical excellence, responsible media communication, and using technology to serve God and communicate truth with clarity and integrity.

Major Areas of Study

  • TV Production: Camera operation, shot composition, lighting, script writing, storyboarding, interviewing, directing, editing, and production planning.
  • Sound Engineering: Microphone use, audio mixing, sound checks, recording, digital audio basics, live sound reinforcement, and troubleshooting audio systems.
  • Live Streaming: Broadcast setup, video switching, graphics, livestream workflow, event coverage, streaming etiquette, and technical roles during live school and ministry events.

Student Learning Outcomes

Evaluate media content through a Christian worldview, emphasizing truth, excellence, stewardship, and positive influence.

Operate basic video, audio, and streaming equipment safely and responsibly.

Plan and produce media projects from pre-production through post-production.

Apply effective communication, visual storytelling, and production techniques.
