1st Grade – Mrs. Perez

Mrs. Perez Kindergarten Classroom. As a kindergarten teacher I love to build a good relationship with the students. I combine the learning approach on playing, singing, doing fun and practical activities such as drawing, and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school.

We help them understand the different ways to learn new information with enthusiasm. Show them how to use their imagination and their creativity. The students learn to develop skills like physical, social, emotional, language and literacy, thinking (cognitive), motor and gross skills. Also, something very important the student expand their vocabulary, creating building communication skills and every tool, resource, and text within our curriculum is based on our Christian beliefs. I feel passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable learning environment for all students. We are doing fun things in class, and we are going to learn a lot. Kindergarten will now be ready to move on to first grade.

The child has one intuitive aim: self development. He desperately wants to develop his resources, his ability to cope with a strange, complex world. He wants to do and see and learn for himself through his senses and not through the eyes of an adult. He becomes a full person. He is educated.”
